JUNIOR CUP:
The
1st Round draw for the Fly Emirates Scottish Junior Cup
was made today (Tuesday 31st August 2010) at Hampden Park.
Dunbar United were lucky enough to be given a first round
bye.

 FIFE & LOTHIANS
CUP 1ST ROUND DRAW:
The
John Walker Painter and Decorator, Fife & Lothians Cup
1st Round draw was made on Tuesday 3rd August 2010. Dunbar
United were the second team out of the proverbial hat,
paired with CROSSGATES PRIMROSE away from home at Humbug
Park, Crossgates. This game is scheduled to go ahead
on Saturday 16th October 2010, assuming the Scottish
Cups (both Senior and Junior) don't overrun and cause
problems (yeah like they would do that!!)

 EAST
OF SCOTLAND CUP 1ST ROUND:
The
John Walker Painter and Decorator East of Scotland Cup,
1st round draw was drawn at the ERSJFA AGM on 22nd June
2010 at Inverkeithing High School. Dunbar United were paired
with DUNDONALD BLUEBELL from
Cardenden in Fife. This game will go ahead with a 2.30pm
kick off on Saturday 11th September 2010.

 DECHMONT
FORKLIFT LEAGUE CUP GROUP 4:
Once
again, the draw for this Cup has been sectionalised and
has been unkind to Dunbar United. We have been placed
in a 7 team group with Superleague sides, BONNYRIGG
ROSE ATHLETIC and MUSSELBURGH
ATHLETIC. Premier League, ARNISTON
RANGERS and PENICUIK
ATHLETIC are also in Group 4 along with
fellow South Division sides TRANENT and HADDINGTON
ATHLETIC.
Our
opponents all get under way on Wednesday 4th August 2010
whilst we sit the first round of fixtures out. Or league
cup campaign commences Saturday 7th Aug... Away v Haddington
Athletic, 2.30pm kick off.

Dunbar
United Colts under 10’s had their
presentation evening 1st July 2010. Davie Lees was on hand
to present the player with their trophies.
SPONSORSHIP
OPPORTUNITIES ANNOUNCED:
Player
Sponsorship:
With
immediate effect the club are offering the opportunity to
sponsor a player for Season 2010/11 and details will be updated
on the website as soon as possible but for those people determined
to get in first the prices are :-
Shirts £25, Shorts £10,
Socks £5, Boots £5, Laces £3,
Water bottles £2.
Thus six different sponsors can chip in money to sponsor the one player
at very reasonable prices from £2 to £25 or if they wish
to sponsor the lot then £50 would suffice.
In return your name would be shown on the website in the relevant area
and any future programmes/newsletters would show the sponsors name with
the relevant player. I am sure that photos etc could also be arranged
and hopefully this will encourage people to get involved with the club.
If you are interested please get in touch with any of the committee as
soon as possible.
Match
Ball Sponsor:
The
match ball sponsor and up to 4 guests would be invited along
to the game and have their photograph taken with the team
captain. They and their guests would also be invited into
the half time hospitality and have their name on the website.
All this for just £50.
Match

The
match sponsor and up to 6 guests would be invited along to
the game and have their photo taken along with the team.
As well as the invite into the half time hospitality and
having their name on the website, they can also nominate
a match mascot who will be given a very special match day.
All this for just £100.
DUNBAR
UNITED MERCHANDISE:
Woolly
Bronx hats, coasters, 2 flavours of pin badge, a limited
supply of club ties and mini pennants are currently in
stock. These can be purchased by contacting the webmaster
using the 'contact webmaster' button at the top of this
page or by calling or texting 07910 391563.
The NEW away tops are made to order and once again, contacting the
webmaster on the above method is the best place to start and sizes and
such like can be arranged and discussed. Home tops will NOT be available
this season as Adidas are no longer making the design that is the basis
of our home top.
Scarves are now is stock and can be purchased in the usual ways. By sending
the club an email, popping into any home game and asking at the 'wee
shop' or giving Ali P a call.
